POST 5: FOOD

My favorite food is pizza. I am a fan, my favorite pizza is pepperoni.

I remember when I was a child, I lived with my parents and my brother, sometimes my father bought pizza after work and dinner with the family.

Over time my parents broke, my dad visited me and he took me to eat pizza from time to time.

I don't know why I like this food so much, but I really enjoy when I can eat pizza, because there are few times that I can do it either because my brother invited me, bought it with my friends or when I had a date with my boyfriend. Also I like so much the taste of cheese, though it's not healthy because this food is very caloric and is considered junk food. That's why we order pizza at home only on special occasions, for example on some birthdays.

We usually buy in Pizza Pizza that has good promotions or in Little Caesars, his pizzas are very cheap. but both options are good. Also we like to make it at home with my father and my boyfriend, only we change pepperoni per salame and we add ham and mushrooms.

The preparation of a delicious pizza is not hard to do, you need dough that is not much thin, tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese and ingredients to taste. After you put in the furnace until all ingredients are cooked and ready!

Post 4: Changes to my study programme

Well, I think that my study programme could have some changes, like history of art, esthetic or music theory. 

When I was in my two first year of college I only had 2 subjects, music theory and my instrument, so... was better if I had more subjects, for example: history of art and esthetic. These subjects only last one semester and they could perfectly be taken in the first years of the degree.                                     

Secondly, in music theory, the teaching method they should be better because just we are taught by repetition and this subject is one of the most important in all the degree, it should also last more years.

And now, I am in my sixth year of college, I have nine subjects... Can you imagine all the burden this means? Is more, and I must comply with everything. I don't even have time for myself or to rest because all weeks I have works or study for the test and I don't have time to study my instrument the hours that correspond because it is too much burden. Not to mention that my career spans nine years... the only way that has helped me to survive the fifth and sixth year of my degree has been to keep up with everything and with the help of my friends and my boyfriend.

On the other hand, in our study room we dont have ligth, and the windows of the whole building fall down, sometimes the elevator fall down too, and this is so dangerous. 

for finish, before the pandemic technology was very old because my university is underfunded, but in the pandemic they had to worry  to change this for online classes. And now we have new computers, tv and projectors.

In short, the infrastructure is poor, but the teachers are great and the atmosphere is nice.

POST 3: MOVIES AND/OR SERIES THAT YOU WOULD RECOMMEND

Today I will talk about klaus.

Klaus is a spanish movie, directed by Sergio Pablos, who gives us a new and refreshing story about Santa Claus. Also, this movie combines the animation in 2D with the animation in 3D, and this is so difficult work, but this mixture is what makes it fantastic.

And, even though this movie is animated it's not childish at all.

This movie has good comedy, great characters and is not boring.

I recommend Klaus because it's a beautiful Christmas movie. 

Personally, this movie didn't catch my attention, but one day, I gave a chance to see this movie with my boyfriend and we were surprised, because it was an amazing story, full of magic and interesting.

This story is about Jesper (main character), he is a wealthy young man who is sent by his father to a remote island in the arctic circle, to fulfill a mission to be a helpful person. In this place there is a village with interesting characters, Jesper made friends like Alva, Klaus, Margu and others. From here, the movie gradually demonstrates the magic of Christmas and tries to tell us about how Santa Claus started in her story.

Post 2: Best holidays/concert ever

Today I will tell you about my first concert and the best experience that I live.

This concert was in movistar arena on 2013, introducing himself for the first time Andre Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra.

André Rieu born in Maastricht, october 1, 1949. He is a violinist, orchestra director and Dutch composer.

His music carrer began when he was a kid and belonged to different orchestras until in 1987 he founded his own orchestra called "Johann Strauss Orkest". The orchestra began with 12 members and they gave his first concert  on January 1, 1988. Along the years the orchestra grew in members, actually have between 80 and 150 musicians.

Andre Rieu and his orchestra have caracteristic style to spread the classic music,  previously reserved for the elite or wealthy classes, André Rieu decided to put his orchestra at the service of a young audience.

To this day Andre Rieu and his orchestra they have performed throughout Europe, North and South America, Japan and Australia.

When I went to concert I feel many emotions, like happyness, anxiety, very nervous, but was moment unique and my first time that I saw a real orquestra. This was so importarnt to me because I have 15 years old and I dreamed study saxophone.

The atmosphere was magic, all people in the concert be in silence and there is only beautiful valses. Also I remember the unique saxophonist in the orchestra. She plays a Ravel's bolero solo, it amazed me, she plays beautiful.

POST 1: A COUNTRY YOU WOULD LIKE TO VISIT

The truth, I have never thought what country to visit, many call me attention, but I do not have a dream place to visit. I think that, first I must know my country and then travel to other places in the world. 

But if I had to choose a country, it would be Belgium, because it is the place where I study my instrument teacher and where the saxophone was born. I would love to go to the Saxofon Museum, know its history while sounding different music styles for Saxofon, being able to take a picture with the statue of Adolphe Sax, (which is made of bronze, the same material as the saxofon).

 I would also like to visit the Charles de Gaulle Bridge where there is a ride of 28 colorful giant saxs that decorate the bridge. Being there I would like to be able to specialize even more about my instrument with the best professor of the Belgian Conservatory. Also being able to participate in the annual Saxofon contest that only celebrates in memory of Adolphe Sax. 

I would love to be able to do all those things but I am not sure if I live there since I would like to succeed in Chile.

Post 6: An expert / person in your field that you admire

As usual, I don't admire to many people but, if I had choose someone, would be my first music teacher, who taught me to play saxophone. His name is Hernan Pinto Vilches, He is band director and clarinetist graduated in my same university. I don't know much about her life but, I know that he is husband, father and grandfather, besides he is a great person, who has trained several musicians, including me. One of them is Nicole Diaz, she is the first woman to join in air force band. Also he created different musical groups, for example, schoolar bands, like the band of "Ciudad del niño" and big bands of ex-student where I participate.

I admire professor Hernan because he isn't normal professor that enter to class, realized his class and leave the classroom. He cares to teach values, life teachings, to be good persons, to see the music the other form, discipline and team work.

Besides all of this, he has been a person very important in my life since I had 10 years old and I join the schoolar band, since this moment I fell in love with music and the professor Hernan noticed my abilities. 

As I grew up and learning my instrument he demanded more of me. When I was 18 years old, I gave my saxophone audition in university, I prepared for months together with my teacher. When I aproved he was the most happy for all that we achieved together. To this day, we still get together to make music.

Post 5: How can your mayor make the world a better place?

The music can't change the world but if it can change people, it affects us emotionally in a positive way.

My career can make the world happy, since everyone likes to listen to music, it creates a satisfying feeling in us.

The world needs music, and for that it needs people who make and interpret it.

For me, music has helped me in different situations of my life, I think that I can reach many people only playing saxophone, teaching them to seeing life in a different way, with music.

Music gives you values and teachings that we can apply in our day to day.

I am dedicate to teaching saxophone to children and in this process I have seen how my students have improved and grown a lot, not only musically aspects, but also as people, and that is very important to improve the world, they learn respect, discipline, love for art, not being afraid to make mistakes, to trust in themselves, and above all passion.
